Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s whirlwind romance is like a fairy tale – so there’s no wonder the story will be told in a new TV movie.
With Meghan’s striking beauty and Harry’s boyish good looks, the producers had a tough job casting the film.
And it looks like finding lookalike actors turned out to be a near-impossible task as the chosen stars barely resemble the royals.
Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance will air on Lifetime in America on May 13 – just six days before the real couple tie the knot.
Prince Harry is played by The Loch star Murray Fraser while actress Meghan Markle, is portrayed by Midnight, Texas star Parisa Fitz-Henley.
The movie will tell the story of their courtship and romance.
It will cover how they met and the global media attention they endured before their engagement.
In one still from the film, Harry and Meghan enjoy an intimate slow dance.
Another shows the pair enjoying dinner with Prince William, played by Burgess Abernethy, and Kate Middleton, played by Laura Mitchell.
House of Cards star Steve Coulter is playing Prince Charles, while New Zealand actress Bonnie Soper has been cast as Princess Diana.
But even with the crew’s impressive attention to detail with costumes, hair and makeup – the actors fail more than a passing resemblance to the royals.
